‘A Modern Classic’

This was the main focus of the design proposal and one of the key points of the design brief that took place at Robinson Interiors' showroom in late 2019.

The overall cabinetry configuration should perfectly embody form and function, aesthetics and everyday hard working kitchen credentials.

The line up of the high-specification in-frame cabinetry and simple, crisp, clean lines, has highlighted the room’s architectural lines and has created a really striking flow to the beautifully landscaped garden.

Coming to the specification of the kitchen, there is an abundance of storage with fully accessorised tall larders, extra wide drawers, top boxes, and an extremely elegant and functional walk-in pantry behind ribbed glass sliding doors.

The appliance line-up features the new high-end Siemens studioline ovens and coffee machine, while the Bora induction hob / extractor was chosen for its excellent cooking qualities and to maximise the views toward the garden - being able to chat to family and friends while cooking being a mandatory requirement!

The Heritage Collection Reimagined

One of our favourite design elements of this kitchen is the crisp white painted stud work that frames the rich blue cabinetry on the cooker wall; this helps define the different functions of the kitchen (cooking, tall storage) while creating a strong link with the simple lines of the sink run and island.

Bespoke cabinetry throughout meant we could maximize internal storage and have the right scale and balance to suit the large open plan space.

The doors were specifically made for the customer in a very fine, simple, authentic shaker style. The plinth was also a completely bespoke size that we had agreed would pack a greater punch than the usual height.

Another unusual feature which we simply love is the sink run cabinetry not being fitted against the wall; this helped enhance the free-standing look we were keen on from the very beginning.

Rational - Portstewart

A renovated and extended bungalow redesigned to maximise its spectacular ocean views with a unique sculpted island as the centerpiece of the kitchen.

Our German Rational Tio handleless kitchen combines two finishes – Arctic White and Fleetwood Repro. The white was chosen to create the desired minimal look while wood accents warm up the palette and tie in with the dark ceiling.

Corian white 80mm & 20mm urban grey quartz tops, Miele & Siemens appliances and a Quooker boiling water Flex tap are included in the high specification of this project.
